Job Title: Spanish Dual Language Immersion Teachers - 1st and 2nd grade (2 positions)

Location: Academia Bilingüe at Three Fires Elementary

Number of Positions: 2 at FTE 1.0 each

 

Work Year: Available immediately for co-teaching and preparation, 10 months (August through June) including paid time in summer for preparation

 

Work Days / Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM

 

SUMMARY:  

Howell Public Schools is seeking passionate educators who are dedicated to teaching young children in a Spanish dual language two way immersion program. This is a unique opportunity to join a pioneering program launched last year, and to work closely with the Immersion Team to continue building a powerful and engaging educational experience for our students.

 

As a Spanish Dual Language Immersion Lower Elementary teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide young minds as they embark on a journey of language learning and cultural discovery. You will work in a supportive environment with paid time in the summer to collaborate on curriculum development and program implementation, and an opportunity for co-teaching / preparation immediately.
